Donna began her work in Physical Therapy in 1975 at the Melbourne Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center in Florida. After joining the U.S. Army, Major Zorn was stationed at the 97 th U.S. Army Hospital in Frankfurt, Germany, working mostly with children. After her stint in the Army, she worked in sports medicine at an acute care hospital in Gainesville, Florida and then became a Lab Instructor for the Medical College of Georgia School of Physical Therapy. In 1993 Donna came to Memorial Mission Hospital in Asheville, where she was Manager of Physical Therapy and then System Manager of Inpatient Physical Therapy for the combined Mission and St. Joseph campuses. She joined the Gentle Pain Release® Center staff in November 2003.

From the very beginning, Donna was attracted to Physical Therapy because it is a way to work with people – a helping profession. Her decision to come to the Gentle Pain Release® Center was inspired by its caring attitude and philosophy, and by seeing the very real difference it was making in the lives of people who had found no other help for their pain. Donna loves hearing people’s stories, and loves being able to help people with the gentle methods that work so well.

Donna likes hiking, camping, canoeing, bicycling, and being outdoors. She loves animals, and has a dog and two cats. She loves music of all kinds and dabbles at the guitar. She has taken the safety course and is learning to ride a motorcycle.

Donna is committed to personal and spiritual growth. She is involved in a meditation practice, and she has experienced the good effects of Gentle Pain Release® in her own life.
